Church

A while back I wrote a blog about how I was upset with my church and how I just didn't feel the excitement in going to church. So here's an update. I still don't feel that excited about going to church. I do still feel excited to work with the youth. Anyway, I feel kinda twisted about church. That's about it.

R-Rated Family Fun!

A few days ago at Albertsons, I again was forced to work with the sounds of children crying and screaming because they didn't get that toy their parents didn't buy them. It's either that or their jerk parents bought them fruit instead of candy again.

After the day was done, I decided to reward myself with a cheap movie. Right now at Albertsons, we are selling some movies for $6.00 each. They were all in a display. There were a bunch of movies in two packs. I got pretty excited because in all of this movie madness was a two pack that included both Vacation and European Vacation. All I can say is score!

Now I can watch Clark Griswold take his family on three different vacations (I already own Christmas Vacation). They really don't make movies like this anymore. You know the kinds of movies where the father takes his family on a cross country vacation and cusses at them, wrecks the family car, gives his son a beer, accidentally kills a dog, and holds up a theme park. And I'm just talking about the first one!

In closing, I really, REALLY hate screaming children.

Crying Kids And Their Parents

This is not a slam to any of my friends who are having kids. I not ashamed to say it. I HATE screaming children. They really bug me. They can't get what they want so they scream for it. They're parents don't know how to take care of them. Some do, a good chunk of parents don't. That really pisses me off. If you don't know how to take care of your kids, leave them at home. Especially, if you go to the store. Or, tape they're mouths shut.

Today at work, there was this screaming kid who just would not shut up. His dad was right next to him and would not tell the child to shut up. I then walked by the parent and talked under my breath and said, "Take control of your child".

Wow!

There is a new movie coming out called, "How She Move". Now tell me people, What is wrong with this title. Who came up with this title. Oh I know, probably the type of person who would name they're child, Jessika because that's how it sounds.

I'm starting to get tired of this whole "gangsta" lifestyle that our society thinks is perfectly fine. I mean, there are kids that look up to drug dealers who have been shot nine times. But, as my friend Jason says, but it's cool.

The Awesome Tape!

The other day I was going through a box of stuff I just don't need anymore. As I was going through it, I came across a tape labeled' "Cartoons". If you know me, you know that I'm a huge fan of old cartoons.

When I was younger and going to elementary school, my grandma would sit at home and tape cartoons for me. You see kids, back in the 80s and 90s they showed cartoons on TV in the afternoon. Thats just one of those things The Man has taken away from us.

On the tape was Tom and Jerry, Popeye, Ducktales, Dennis The Menace, Yogi Bear, Gumby, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Woody Woodpecker, and Ghostbusters. The Gostbusters was not the Ghostbusters we all know and love. This one featured a couple of guys and a gorilla hunting ghosts. I kind of remember watching it as a kid, and wondering that this was not the same as the Ghostbusters movie. I guess this is why Ghostbusters cartoon based on the movie was called, "The Real Ghostbusters".

So that answers that question about The Real Ghostbusters. Here's another question. Does anybody remember the other Ghostbusters cartoon. If you do, please comment. I'd like to know.

Good things are worth the wait!

I was watching an old episode of Scrubs the other day, in which JD (Zach Braff) opens up a box of cereal, and finds a double prizer. A double prizer is when you get two prizes in one box of cereal. In the episode he was extremely excited. Turk (Donald Faison) didn't seem as excited as JD. While watching this episode, I started thinking it could never happen to me.

Now flashback two weeks ago. I am at the store. I decide to buy a box of cereal. At this point of my life, there are things in my life that I have never tried. For instance, I have never been bull riding, skydiving, rock climbing and I had never eaten Golden Grahams before. One of those things I was gonna do right there and then.
I bought the darn cereal.

I got home and poured me a box o' grahams. Then a prize came out. It was a spoon with the little bee from Bee Movie. I kinda got happy because it's rare these days when a prize comes with the cereal. You usually have to send away for the sweet prize buy sending 4 UPCs. Whatever!

Now today, I went to finish the rest of the cereal. As I poured the rest out, another Bee Movie spoon came out of the box. I now know how JD felt. I will forever cherish this moment because things like this just don't happen every day.

Fire Power!

Since Mike moved to Arizona, it's been kind of impossible to get WAYNE together to rock out. So, Richard Holt and I, along with Jeff Barrick have started a new (Not a replacement) band called Fire Power. This band is totally different than WAYNE.

Fire Power is an electro-blues experience. There's me on keys and synths, Jeff on drums and syths, and Rich on drums, guitar, and keys. We are really trying to get more people involved so each of us can stick to one instrument. We'd like to get Sarah Neder to possibly sing and maybe Bill Barnes to wale on guitar.

Our first song is entitled, "15 Seconds of Something" and we hope to start recording some music this Sunday afternoon. I hope this turns out to be amazing.

I just want to get something straight for all of the WAYNE fans out there. WAYNE did not break up. This is just a side project. Hopefully WAYNE will be WAYNING your hearts sooon.
