The Rise and Fall of Me and Music.
Something crazy happened this summer. I came to the realization that I really don't listen to as much new music as I should. I've had conversations with my friend Nathan about new music. We'd say that we wouldn't stop listening to new music. Nathan hasn't, but I have. It happened by accident. Mainly because my radio broke. I guess I could listen to internet radio.
I find that I am slowly starting to become less interested in new music. I was checking out my CD collection and I noticed that I haven't bought a new CD since 2007. There is something special about buying a new CD. And I'm not talking about getting it though iTunes or another digital service.
I went to Best Buy the other day trying to find something new that I would be interested in. So what do I do? I end up buying a Bob Dylan CD. It wasn't anything recent. It was Highway 61 Revisited. For those of you that don't know about that album, it was released in 1965.
This being said, do you have any recommendations that can help me get back on track? Let me know.
