No Sound
So check this out. There is no sound coming from my laptop. I've troubleshooted and troubleshooted, I just don't know what to do. I've looked in the properties, and everything seems to be working fine. Also, it is not on mute. So computer geeks, can you help me out?

Do headphones work? If the headphones work then I have no idea.
Throw your computer away. They are a waste of time.
Come on Lindsay, you can't just go around spreading anti-computer and printer slander like that! haha.
I was gonna say what andrew said. Headphones work, then your speakers are broken at the hardware level. If they don't work, you've got something screwed up in software.
Could be a driver issue. My friend's speakers stopped working yesterday and today she just updated the driver and they work fine now.
